Why Sundown Select
A slower place
for house music.
There’s more new music than anyone can keep up with. We make time to listen.
We find chill house, lounge, deep house, downtempo, and neighbouring sounds worth coming back to.
You choose a playlist, press play, and settle in.
Built slowly, in our own time.
Built in spare hours, through curiosity and careful listening. A personal project for sharing records we love—and helping more people discover the artists behind them.
Enough pulse to carry the working day. Enough restraint to leave room for concentration.
The Sundown approach
Selected with a point of view.
Warm, soulful electronic music for the space between stillness and motion. Every record earns its place through listening.
We think about the whole listen: music that feels good together, with enough character to reward attention.
Independent by design. Generous by purpose.
The selection cannot be bought.
We do not charge for access, accept payment for placement, or sell positions in our selections.
When we share music, we credit its makers and point listeners toward official places to listen, follow, and support them.
Less searching.More listening.
